At The Elephant’s Trunk we provide an in house delivery service covering both the San Diego and Los Angeles counties.
Please call our customer service at 858-437-0139 to schedule a delivery appointment. Delivery charges are based on zip code and items to be delivered.
To help make your delivery experience satisfactory, please give us a correct delivery address including two phone numbers where you can be reached on the day of delivery. For your convenience delivery times are scheduled at one or two hour intervals.
Drivers are not authorized to move your existing furniture please clean and clear rooms prior to delivery.
Please inform us of any potential delivery problems such as stairs, narrow hallways and doors, and or tight turns.
**A 15% restocking fee will apply to any returns made with in 7 days of the purchase date. All returns must be kept in the condition they were received and accompanied by the original invoice or receipt. Return or exchanges only with in 7 days of purchase date.
*** Online orders are for beyond our in house delivery services (San Diego County, Borrego/Palm Desert, Orange County, Los Angeles) and freight price is quoted for trucking not delivery. Please call the store to place your order via phone if you require local delivery rather than nationwide trucking.

We provide excellent shipping services at the most competitive rates. If you are in need of a shipping quote, please proceed to the check out and the cost to ship your merchandise will be displayed, or call The Elephant’s Trunk customer service at 858-437-0139. All merchandise is shipped insured. Your merchandise will be crated or packaged and shipped in the most secure and safe method. Shipments generally take a total of two or three weeks depending on product and where it is being shipped. Oversized furniture may be shipped blanket wrap and can take up to 4 weeks. Certain carriers only provide one man and curbside delivery, as we quote economy service level only. Other services available upon request
at a higher freight rate which includes “white glove”, essentially 2 men bringing the furniture into your home and placing it where you choose .
